Back to the grind? We definitely should be! You don't get 'good' by being 'comfortable'... it takes some effort, but the rewards more than justify that. So let's commit to keeping up the regular training in this new year.  It is really inspiring that a new generation of kids have put down their phones (or, better, never picked them up) and have decided that they want to improve their sport with some appropriate (and supervised) fitness training.
