Combat Ready (2026/005)
What is your fitness plan actually FOR? Different sports need different plans, assuming that you are not just at the stage of 'bigger muscles please'. Today's focus is on combat sports: jiu jitsu, muay thai and so forth, but not wrestling which we usually treat in separate posts. Although bjj is pretty like wrestling, we suppose, but different rules so included here (especially as we more youngsters taking it up and hence getting into fitness rather than phones). Boxing and MMA too, although not sports we would necessarily recommend ourselves. So here we need muscle for sure, but plenty of cardio and working on flexibility and endurance as well. A young guy there clearly into hi chosen sporting venue!
