OK - you took the plunge. Started some simple workouts. You've noticed some improvement in your appearance. Now's the time... be confident to get that shirt off in front of other guys. Maybe just lingering a little longer when changing will build your confidence. Eventually, train shirtless (unless you're in one of those stupid gyms that don't like it). Then get out and about - warmer weather is coming. Don't be shy in front of other better-built guys - they'll see you are "on the pathway" and probably give you some encouragement. Today's fit guys are confidently "out there" - and (whatever age you happen to be) so go join them! Actually being with a pal helps a lot if you really are a bit shy.
