With heavy snow forecast for us, we thought that we would turn our attention today to fitness in the ice and snow - ice baths seem to be 'in' on social media right now and, of course, on sunny ski slopes there is a compulsion to remove your shirt for your latest fitness-progress post! Remember: cold plunges after training (or after sauna) can work wonders for your well being but, for sudden temperature shock can cause heart problems. If in doubt, take medical advice. Yes, spring has sprung for those of us in the northern hemisphere. Fewer storms, more sun and a summer of fitness to look forward to.
