Hit The Gym in '26! (2026/001)

Back to the grind? We definitely should be! You don't get 'good' by being 'comfortable'... it takes some effort, but the rewards more than justify that. So let's commit to keeping up the regular training in this new year.  It is really inspiring that a new generation of kids have put down their phones (or, better, never picked them up) and have decided that they want to improve their sport with some appropriate (and supervised) fitness training. Some examples: Back to the bigger guys: Ready? Let's go!     

Gym Is The Answer (2025/365)

I was going to use the phrase "Gym'll fix it" until it was pointed out to me that, in UK at least, a similar phrase used about a now deceased TV presenter is an absolute no-no given the disclosure  of his behaviours. I didn't mean it that way at all, of course: but if you are feeling that your body image is in need of improvement, then regularly attending a gym certainly will "fix it". Or using weights in your home... a good substitute for beginners. The point is to commit to it, and eventually, the good results will start to show. Young and old. Just stick with it.  Today we have fit guys pleased with their physiques and (mostly) in their gyms, to inspire you. The younger generation are certainly in no doubt that gym training is the key to sporting success:
