Some gyms are huge and have  dozens of enthusiastic guys training: in other quieter places it may be just you and your best buddy. And y'all spend time together outside the gym, too... ...what works for these guys would for sure work for you too!  Great that a lot of these guys have camera phones...  OK - let's get away from the gym now... all still wanting to show of their strength/muscles though:    

Guys enjoying the great outdoors and, quite often, showing off their successes after engaging with a workout programme.  Follow their examples!
