Gymnastics and Balance Training (14)
Time again to feature acrobatic endeavours again, starting with the training our young and upcoming acrobats/gymnasts are willing to pursue to achieve their ambitions! Main focus on hand balancing today.
"Read all about it"...
The following mp4s will go full screen if you click the icon on the bottom of their opening screen.
Andrei first: any training opportunity is not to be missed...
...and building his strength...
...and showing off his 'flare':
Alexander...
Chris (circus boy from Spain) in various training sessions:
...and a quickie just entering into a simple confident hand balance... how it should be done:
Ilya (another circus boy who does adagio acrobatic balance):
He performs with his brother Sam:
...and loves to do free head balance as well:
Handstand pushups can be more graceful than this, but Norwegian gymnast Odin gives it a go after a break:
Street gym opportunity - performer unknown:
Make good use of what you find:
(and maybe wear shorts in public!).
Let's check out Danilo from Brazil:
Other ways (Odin again and a friend):
...and on his own:
Some Russian boys trying out their planches now:
The first and last of that group showed young gymnast Yevgeny getting ever stronger.
Some of an older generation "having a go"...
...and doing very well in that last case! A different position for the one-arm:
Sunset with Samuele (Italy):
Gymnastics class: first, the 'straddle-up':
A little help from your friends:
A couple of lever supports from young dudes determined to improve their strength:
Yes, even swimmers can do it! And young Yevgeny (again) certainly can...
As you can see, he has his own gymnastics studio:
Definitely a lad who knows what he wants his body to do!
Competition: and going up to Chinese handstand during a floor routine:
General training:
And yes, of course, we need support on hands alone on the other gynastic apparatus too!
So: a post very heavy on supporting oneself on the hands only. So important for gymnasts and acrobats - we always tell our gymnasts that they can never spend too much time on their hands! Hope you liked, and appreciate the efforts that our young gymnasts make to be able to do all that stuff that the rest just have to stand back and admire. Good work, guys!
