Is It 'Goodbye Younglifter.com'? (2023/352)
One month ago, the superb 'body image' site younglifter.com suddenly disappeared. It was a great site, known to afficionados as the 'green pages' and run by a guy in Chicago, Corin M. Hugely popular, and suddenly gone.
Does anyone know why, or whether it has re-appeared under a new name?
Meanwhile, here is our tribute to those 'young lifters' (and some not so young now!) - keep up the good work in your gyms, guys!
Yep - use whatever you have to hand!!
Your own bodyweight will do fine...
And some results:
flex...come rain or shine... or hail!!... ...
So: is it "RIP, younglifter.com?" Not here, at any rate: we'll keep the fitness flag flying.
Unfortunately, I don't know why Younglifter.com disappeared from the face of the earth. It was a cult forum with photos of athletes, models, influencers and actors. A cult forum, but the website had some problems in the form of suspension at the beginning of autumn, and now this forum no longer exists. The mention on this blog is the only one I've seen. I don't know who ran this forum, but I know it was very popular. Is anyone planning to set up something similar?
ReplyDeleteIt was a great website but I had it shut down due to illegal images of children and a home to predators
ReplyDeletewtf?
DeleteThat's ridiculous. I never saw an "illegal image of children" on that website. Nothing you couldn't see on TV or in a sports magazine..
DeleteOh please. You're just an attention-starved garden variety troll, and not even a very good one at that. You're too illiterate to police anything; your spelling and grammar are atrocious and you make contradictory statements. Get a life. Go back under your bridge.
DeleteWell... we didn't like that last comment either. Younglifter was always very careful not to include anyone under 18, as we found out when we tried to post a very young looking but genuinely 18yo guy one time. Our anonymous comment poster above sounds a wee bit precocious - "I had it shut down" - if true, an abuse of power, we would say! We are thinking of contacting Corin in Chicago to see if we can find out if there is a replacement site - will keep y'all posted.
ReplyDeleteGive it up me and internet police as well as GoDaddy we shut it down for good it will never be back online as it did have pictures of min!rs I have proof in my investigation I did and I never paid to see the nude content but assumed it was of minors too*
DeleteI have proof of the images weren't up to par and sometimes I found pictures of peoples butt but not front part but it's still looked like inappropriate pics and questionable content and doubt there will be anything like that site again or close to it so just move on and get over it
DeleteYou shouldn't sign as 'Anonymous', you should sign as 'I am an ass'! There was nothing wrong with that site.
DeleteThis is a surprise for me with Younglifter. The website was highly positioned in Google and featured on the Internet. She was iconic and famous, so what illegality and what strange activities are we talking about? You could also learn about new vloggers on YT who either talk about sports or modeling or talk about the lives of homosexual couples (when it was not so popular and obvious). I don't have any knowledge that there is anything illegal there and nowadays it is probably impossible to position a website where something strange is happening? Does anyone have knowledge or contact information about the creators of the website and whether a new forum, blog or anything else will replace it?
ReplyDeleteI was a moderator on YGL. When it was brought down, I thought at first that Jebus6667 had just forgotten to pay his host site, as often happened. Unfortunately, that was not the case. The site was never brought back up, and the onetime webmaster and admin consistently ignored me, and I had his phone number and texted him to elicit a response. None was ever forthcoming.
ReplyDeleteI tried emailing his as well. It is a real shame. The vast majority of pictures were great.
