Self Improvement Will 100% Change Your Life (2025/138)

...that is the principle on which this blog is based. To offer examples, successes, of improvement in health and fitness as a result of the right kind of exercise. We do include bodybuilding, but that is not everyone's prime goal (nor ours, either) - fitness for your chosen sport, strength and flexibility to improve your performance - that's the idea. And to encourage the next generation towards fitness rather than screens...

We are wondering, actually, whether with 1735 posts over nearly 5 years, it is maybe time to call it a day. Interest has dropped off a bit recently. We do try never to repeat a pic or a video but it sometimes happens.

Let us know what you think by adding comments to this post. It does take us a bit of effort!

Meanwhile - more on the theme of training and results. Plenty of lads are keen to strut their stuff and show us how to exercise. And, actually, it is the youngest lads who really seem keen to get stuck into their fitness, so we'll start there.

Just love that little wink at the end.

By the way, another question. What do you like best? Gym workout scenes? Wrestling? Gymnastics? Poseurs and show-offs? Candid pix of great physiques, including outdoor? Let us know with a comment.

Another question? Do you prefer pictures or videos? Or a mix of both?

Narrative, like this, or just pix and vids? Give us some feedback in comments.

Let's inspire the really young - big bro shows him how:

...maybe it's Dad, actually. And then using the little guy as a weight himself! Kewl.

Or rather 'cool'... pix not of guys in the gym but cooling off or taking a break - out come the cameras and phones...

And finally, returning to the young enthusiasts: two brothers again:

Impressive. Commitment - that's the key!

So, remember to tell us what you think. And, by the by, what about checking out some of the other 1734 posts - here's a random choice from us to get you started - CLICK HERE - suggesting how you should be at the end of your workout!

  1. Hey Tony, I’ve been following your blog for the five years and also your older blog. To answer your question, I like the mix you have been posting; although, I like the still pics, but the videos are good for checking the form. Keep up the great work. Sincerely, Jim M

  2. To answer your questions: i have followed you since your previous posting platform. I am inspired and want you to continue and I appreciate the time and effort you spend to do what you do for the love of it.

I like the variety except that most of the wrestling is staged "professional wrestling". The gymnasts are good and i liked the video of their mistakes you posted last week; only that it reminds me that it takes lots of time and effort to look good in the many videos of them nailing their routine. Nothing without effort. Nothing without sacrifice.

I prefer mostly pics with a few videos sprinkled in.

I hope this is the feedback you wanted. You didn't seem to appreciate my "too many videos" comment.

    Regards,
    Dave Rich
